Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Kathy Vetten, and I am a Broker and REALTOR® with EXIT Realty Mountain View Properties. I am a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Professional and made my home in Murphy, NC, since 1995. Over the years, I developed a deep passion for real estate, which has grown into a lifelong and rewarding career.

I specialize in Listing and Selling Homes, Land, and New Construction, and real estate truly is a family business for me. I am proud to work alongside my son, Steven Moutrey, Broker / REALTOR, and my daughter, Charlie Dickey, Broker / REALTOR who also excels in the real estate industry. Together, we work to provide expanded opportunities, knowledge, and support for both our buyers and sellers.

I am an active member of the Mountain Lakes Board of REALTORS® and the Northeast Georgia Board of REALTORS®, helping promote North Carolina listings. I previously served as President of the Mountain Lakes Board of REALTORS® and was a Board Director for five years. Giving back to the real estate community is important to me, and I enjoy mentoring fellow REALTORS®.

Before beginning my real estate career, I proudly served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1981. During my service, I excelled in Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where I served as a Platoon Guide and earned the Honor Graduate Award. My final tour of duty was in Neu-Ulm, Germany, famously known as the birthplace of Albert Einstein and home to the tallest church steeple in the world at Münster Church (just a little history for you!).

Prior to real estate, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, a career I chose to leave behind to pursue my passion for real estate full-time.
